Approximately ten years later, Kiddie Academy opened its first franchise location in Elkton, MD. In 1996, the first franchise location opens outside of Maryland.
In 2001, Kiddie Academy’s 7000 page curriculum receives a Library of Congress copyright. In 2004, the Academy begins its online offerings. In 2012, Kiddie Academy was named one of the hottest 125 franchises by Opportunity World Magazine and was the only childcare business so named.
